Abstract
A method for purification of iron-containing material from arsenic and phosphorus relates to mining-metallurgy and metallurgy, namely to physical-chemistry methods for preparation of iron, iron-manganese, iron-titanium, manganese and other ores, concentrations, spongy iron, metallized granules and bloom. A method for purification of iron-containing material from arsenic and phosphorus comprises the grinding of iron-containing material with simultaneous leaching in alkaline concentrated solution of sodium chloride to obtaining of suspension, which is subjected gravitation separation on solid phase of iron-containing material and suspension of dispersed impurities, separation of solid phase of iron-containing material from liquid phase and washing of solid phase by acid concentrated solution of sodium chloride. The invention provides increase of iron content in product at decrease in it of arsenic and phosphorus content to standard values, reduction of process duration, decrease of consumptions of alkaline reagent, decrease of prime cost.
