Abstract

A method for measuring students’ education motivation when working in interactive computer environment consists in that signal of estimated motivation is generated as a product of signal proportional to time spent for learning educational material by signal proportional to volume of information passed through monitor in the educative process, by signal proportional to interactive intenseness exhibited by student in the learning process, and by a signal proportional to result mark in the testing process during current training session. The signal obtained is additionally multiplied by a signal proportional to volume of information passed through monitor in the testing process, and output student’s education motivation signal is formed with account of weight factor of each input signal. Output signal of motivation estimation signal is formed as a sum of motivation estimation signals in each current training session divided by number of training sessions.
