Abstract

A device for actuating a bicycle with a rod-pedal drive of a rear wheel comprises a first assembly – a rear wheel provided with possibility of fastening by its axle to the rear part of the bicycle frame, a system of connecting rods with pedals interconnected with the wheel, whose rotational axis passes through the axis of rotation of a sleeve of this rear wheel so that it is possible to transmit a torque through this system of connecting rods with pedals to this rear wheel, and the second assembly interconnected with the first assembly - a saddle comprising a rear gluteal support portion, which is able to be secured to the device, which respectively provides fastening of the second assembly to the bicycle frame. The second assembly further comprises a front support part, which provides support of the front part of the human body, while the front and rear portions are secured on an additional structure forming an opening between the front and rear portions in the area of human perineum, which is based on the front and rear supports, whereby the opening is formed in such a manner as to exclude the contact of the perineum and genitals with the structure of the saddle-lounger.
