Abstract

A method for disinfecting ballast water and water media in flow comprises the hydrodynamic processing. The hydrodynamic processing is carried out by forming of two-phase liquid-steam-gas environment followed the creation of pressure peak when passing on the profiled channel. The plant for ballast water disinfection and other aquatic media in flow contains vacuum forming device, inlet and outlet pipes. The vakuum forming device is made as a nozzle mounted in the front wall of the vacuum chamber, provided with the pressure-vacuum gage. And the inlet pipeline is connected in series with filter, pump, gauge, thermometer and manometer. And return line is provided with reverse pressure regulator and pressure gauge. This group of inventions provides the increasing of efficiency of disinfecting of ballast water and aquatic media.
