Abstract

The invention relates to robot technology and can be used in the designs of the robots intended for performing rescue and prospecting works in the inaccessible areas and zones of increased danger. A mobile walking robot contains internal and external mobile supporting parts, mechanisms of horizontal and vertical displacement of the mobile supporting parts, each of which consists of a drive, a rectilinear kinematic pair and guides, a mechanism of turning. In accordance with the invention, the robot additionally contains a mechanism of compensation, each of supporting moving elements is equipped with a separate mechanism of its displacement, moreover one of them is equipped only with the mechanism of horizontal displacement, and another - only with the mechanism of vertical displacement. In the case the mechanism of compensation contains the drive, the rectilinear kinematic pair, guides and a balance weight. The invention ensures ability of the mobile walking robot to move on the stairs, improvement of its operating characteristics and resistance of robot against longitudinal tilting at movement over the stairs during conducting prospecting works in the destroyed houses and installations.
