Abstract

A method of resonance excitation of a screening grid, which provides for static tension thereof and vibration action with a frequency close to the resonance frequency. In the case stabilization of the static tension of screening grid relative to counter shifts of its edges is achieved, and vibration action is carried out mainly in the plane of screening grid transversely to said edges. A resonance screen has a bed, connected with a frame, to which by longitudinal edges the screening grid is fastened, at least, one vibrator. In the case the frame is made in the form of parts that are not connected together and located from the opposite sides of grid, and, at least, one of said parts is connected with the bed by means of, at least, one stabilizing device made in the form of an elastic element located in the plane of grid, and is equipped with a vibrator. The inventions provide for operation of the screen in the mode of parametric resonance, which allows to increase the materials separation efficiency.
