Abstract

A device for levitation working by turning of thin-wall conic parts contains a flanged tubular housing, magnetic circuits with cores and coils and a radial conical aerostatic support. The windings of phase coils are connected to a source of three-phase voltage with sequential circular and linear phase transposition. The magnetic circuits are made in the form of toothed disks of various diameter installed coaxially and with the same pitch on a tubular axle of the housing. The radial aerostatic support is made in the form of a truncated cone, it is located between adjacent magnetic circuit of bigger diameter and is equipped with two-side cantilever plates. On the outer curvilinear surfaces of the cantilever plates central closed axial distribution grooves are made. The axial radial grooves cross the central annular distribution groove of the radial conical support in the zone of feeding openings. Surfaces of polar tips of the magnetic circuit cores and radial conical aerostatic support with cantilever plates form a conical mounting face with a cone angle which is equal to the cone angle of the basic surface of the part being worked. The invention ensures increase of accuracy of working nonrigid parts such as solid of revolution of conical form.
