Abstract
A fiber-optic system of gas control comprises connected block for transformation, processing, storage and analysis of information obtained from registration device, and block for control of means directed to normalization of gas medium and to prevention and signaling of danger at given production zone, and power supply source of emitter connected to optically connected two sources of radiation, light guides, optical splitter, measuring cuvettes with same dimensions, output light guides and receivers of radiation spectral susceptibility of which is matched to the spectral range of radiation of two sources of radiation. A splitter with 2×N structure and required energy distribution by each control point (p.1, p.2, ..., p.N) is used as an optical splitter, this is optically connected to two sources of radiation and connected with light guides to measuring cuvettes, with formation of fluxes that pass through measuring (working) channels where the measuring cuvettes with same dimensions are placed, with analyzed gas, connected with the output light guides to receivers of radiation, the spectral susceptibility of those is matched to the spectral range of radiation of two sources of radiation, the values of output signals of those are fixed with registration device connected to the block for transformation, processing, storage, representation and analysis of obtained information. One source of radiation has wavelength that corresponds to the spectral line of absorption of gas. The other source of radiation has wavelength that is out of the boundaries of the range of spectral absorption of gas. Concentration of gas in given point is determined according to the Beer-Lambert-Bouguer law, with comparison of data obtained at operation of the source of radiation with wavelength corresponding to spectral line of absorption of gas to data obtained at operation of the source of radiation with wavelength that is out of the boundaries of the range of spectral absorption of gas. The analyzed gas is pumped through measuring cuvettes with same dimensions.
