Abstract
Heterometal tertiary phosphates of cobalt (II)-zinc-magnesium octahydrates contain simultaneously cobalt (II), zinc, magnesium. They contain in crystal lattice unprotonated phosphate tetrahedra, entering the coordination environment of octahedra Co-O, Zn-O, Mg-Oand forming hydrogen bonds with molecules of crystallohydrate water. They crystallized in monoclinic system, space group C 2/m with two formula units in elementary cell, and water solubility of 2-3 %. The content of ingredients makes, wt. %, cobalt (II) – 33.55-22.97, zinc – 0.64-11.46, magnesium – 0.24-4.93, phosphorus – 12.09-12.89. They are obtained by neutralization under 40- and pH 3.0-3.3 of 40-87 % phosphate acid solution with mechanical mixture of cobalt (II), zinc, magnesium hydroxycarbonates with mole ratio of K=Co/∑Zn, Mg=45.0- the presence of hydroxylamine sulphate in amount of 0.1-0.05 of cobalt (II) content. The residue is separated, washed with water in amount of 1:5, dried under 40- to constant mass.
