Abstract

The invention relates to the inactivation of viruses in the production of ceruloplasmin. The proposed method includes the chromatographic purification of enzyme solution by treatment with solvent-detergent mixture followed by two-stage washing of enzyme immobilized on the sulfopropyl-cationite sorbent with acetate buffer solution and elution. At the first stage of washing the acetate buffer solution is used, which contains the sodium caprylate, sodium chloride and propylene glycol, and at the second stage the acetate buffer solution containing sodium chloride is used. The method provides high efficiency in the elimination and inactivation of viruses, which increases viral safety of the ceruloplasmin.
