Abstract

The invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to the hoisting electromagnets, and can be used for manufacturing of devices for seizure and retention of ferromagnetic materials at handling operations. A hoisting electromagnet contains magnetic circuit with basis, internal and external poles, control coil, shielding washer and insulating filling compound. Internal pole is made with a step, which enlarges it toward the basis, and the control coil has corresponding stepped narrowing from the side of internal pole. In accordance with the invention, the control coil is made from two or three series-connected parts. The first part is made from copper wire and is located along the internal pole of the magnetic circuit between its step and shielding washer. The second part is made from aluminum wire with section, which exceeds the section of the wire of the first part. In this case the third part of control coil is made from copper wire and is located along the external pole of magnetic circuit. The invention provides increase of the load capacity of electromagnet during continuous operation due to reduction of heating the control coil and redistribution of magnetic fluxes.
