Abstract

Method for entering text and commands to portable digital device and hand computer for its realization relates to computing engineering and communication. Hand computer has body, screen, control elements as nine-position joysticks arranged on side surface of the body, element for fixation to hand with table of symbol and command layout. Technical result is in possibility of entry of text and commands to portable digital device with one hand, the other hand at that is completely free; the invention makes it possible to work at movement and at performing other actions; elements of control do not occupy useful area on face panel; completely or partially it simulated standard keyboard; it makes it possible to work with standard layouts «QWERTY» and cyrilic leters: makes it possible to perform text entering with “blind” method at rate competing with rate of entering on standard keyboard; formation of reflexes of “blind” method of entry takes place automatically at text entry; at entry with visual contact hand does not hide notes of control elements; makes it possible to simulate pointing device “mouse”; makes it possible to work with documents of format A4; can be used as universal control point for digital house.
