Abstract

An ion collector relates to measurement of weak electrical current and may be used as an ion detector – a spectrometer. The ion detector consists of a diaphragm, a body. The body comprises a box open from one side, two faces and a base are made as an U-type magnet, two other faces are made from magnetically non-conducting material. The proposed construction provides simplification of the ion collector construction lowering power inputs.
