Abstract
The invention relates to experimental aerodynamics and can be used in design of wind tunnels with contour of closed type. Method for cooling wind tunnel with contour of closed type includes discharge to atmosphere of part of air from contour and intake to contour of air from atmosphere where additionally water is sprinkled to contour, at that dimension of drops is chosen in such way as to provide complete evaporation of liquid phase before entering working zone, and amount of water that is sprinkled is chosen in such way as to exclude saturation and condensation of vapor in working zone. Technical result of the invention is in decrease of hydraulic losses, increase of effectiveness of cooling, possibility of achieving in WT contour temperature lower than temperature of environment.
