The process of vacuum-arc remelting is carried out with simultaneous feeding the helium gas to the crystallizers, and deposition rate of the metal in the crystallizers of vacuum-arc remelting and also temperature of homogenizing heating ingots of vacuum-arc remelting and time of their holding is selected based on the content of carbide forming elements in the steel.
