Abstract
A process for preparation of mineral water for production of drinks comprises freezing out the part of water, further melting of the obtained solid phase and discharge of ice water. The initial sodium-chloride water with total mineralization of 2.5-4 g/dmis saturated with carbon dioxide to concentration of 2.89-3.7 g/dm, saturated sodium chloride water with setting temperature of 8-20 °C is given to freezing out at variable temperature conditions, which is determined by conditions of phase equilibrium for solution of certain mineralization to transformation to ice of 45-60 % of initial water. After that frozen out in such a way sodium chloride water is melted without separation at room temperature.

Process for the reduction of magnesium in a brine, which comprises adjusting the brine to a lithium content of 4.5 to 6% by weight, adding kcl solution to precipitate carnalite, and further concentrating and precipitating magnesium as carnalite; lithium carbonate; and lithium chloride.
