Abstract

A method of express determination of the term of the general use in pine forests, while carrying out multipurpose growing high-grade assortments of sawing logs, construction timber, sleeper wood, mine timber, includes setting up a sample area in a plantation determining taxation indices. The term of the general use is determined according to the state of assortment structure of a tree stand by means of setting up just one temporary sample area determining two parameters: the density and average volume of trunks achieving or exceeding the obtained indices of reference parameters of a forest stand which is actually technically mature, in particular a density of 642 trees/ha, an average volume of trunks of 1.09 m3.
