Abstract
A safety ball-elastic clutch comprises two half-clutches one of which includes two installed coaxially cylindrical screw springs, and the other one – balls placed between turns of the springs with possibility of displacement in radial openings of the half-clutch. The screw springs are made conical, with the larger diameters directed towards the driven shaft. The balls are installed with possibility of axial displacement in the long slots of the driven half-clutch arranged along the axis of installation of the drive and driven shafts.
