A method for preliminary refinement of cast iron comprising the simultaneous blowing through two dipped lances of gas jets, carrying in powder-like state of reagents based on lime and magnesium, in addition, preliminary deoxidation of cast iron is carried out at ladle filling with addition agent of aluminium ingots with consumption of 0.25-0.45 kg/t of cast iron and further blowing into smelt through one dipped lance of powder-like dolomitic lime with consumption of 0.18-(t·min.) of cast iron at specific consumption of oxygen 0.25-(t·min.) and protective nitrogen 0.040-(t·min.) is carried out at blowing into smelt during 10-75 % of the total refinement duration, and through second dipped lance of dispersed magnesium with consumption of 0.020-(t·min.) of cast iron in nitrogen stream with specific consumption of 0.05-(t·min.).
