Abstract
The orthopedic corset consists of the belt made of the high-dense tissue tailored as the broad band with narrowed ends equipped with the fasteners of Velkro type. According to the invention, the belt contains the cuts in the frontal side parts. The edges of both cuts are equipped with the plastic bands containing the openings for stringing them together. Three pairs of the tightening and fastening belts with the adjusting clamps are installed between the plastic bands in the edges of the rear cuts and the plastic bands in the middle areas of the frontal parts of the corset belt. The strings are designed as three separate sections. Four stiffening ribs are installed around the perimeter of the rear part of the corset. These ribs are made of the plastic bands covered with the softening layers and connected from outside with the rigid and elastic bands. The inventive orthopedic corset provides for increasing efficacy of the treatment of patients with backbone pathologies.
