Abstract
A rope balancing device comprises a mechanism for balancing inertia forces arising during reciprocating movement of a rolling mill stand for cold rolling pipes. The mechanism of balancing the inertia forces is made in the form of a power wheel with a steel rope, which one end is rigidly fixed, and the second one is connected to the rolling mill stand for cold rolling pipes. The power wheel is equipped with radially mounted hinge rollers and is connected to a screw mechanism of pre-tensioning rope.
