Abstract

The method for diagnosing the functional state of the biological tissue and the device for its realization have been proposed. The electrode voltage is measured followed by applying the pulse of the stabilized current. The voltage increment is controlled by its first derivative. When increment rate becomes zero, the voltage is measured once again. The voltage of the biological tissue is calculated as the difference between the measured voltage value and the electrode voltage. The resulting value is divided by e (the base of the natural logarithms). The quotient obtained is summed with the electrode voltage giving the limiting voltage. Then the pulse of the current is switched off and the time of decreasing voltage down to its limiting value is recorded. After that, the voltage decrease is followed on down to zero. When zero voltage is recorded, the pulse of the opposite polarity is applied, and the measurements are repeated. The resulting values of the tissue voltage and voltage decrease time are used for calculating the equivalent values of ohmic resistance and the electric capacity.
