Abstract
Description
Обпирання на кінцівку відбулося на третю добу.due to uncontrollability of the animal. Leaning on the limb happened on the third day.
Загоєння наступило на 47 добу (час зняття всіх металоконструкцій).Licking of the wound occurred constantly, until the plate was exposed. The wound was treated with antiseptic solutions. The wound was constantly monitored. Healing occurred on the 47th day (time of removal of all metal structures).
5.Clinical case 5.
Dog, German shepherd crossbreed, 6 years old. She was taken to the veterinary clinic with a diagnosis of polytrauma and "previous surgical intervention", a fracture of the middle third of the lower leg. She was operated on a second time with the placement of a bone plate with 5 screws (Fig. 4). Due to the fairly large mass of the animal and the early inclusion of the limb in work, an external fixation device (Pat. Mo 53355) was installed in the next 2 days. Time for fracture consolidation and removal of all metal structures - 20 days. Rehabilitation period - 14 days.
In all of the above clinical cases, the used plates reliably immobilized bone fragments with varying degrees of complications in the fracture area. There was no backlash of the operated bones with significant uncontrolled loads on the diseased limb. Treatment of an open wound in the fracture area with a bare plate without loosening and rejection of blocked screws showed the reliability of fixation of fragments with the proposed plates.
The effectiveness of treatment has increased significantly.
