The method for attaching the monodisk prosthesis in a mitral position comprises the stage of the direct control of the quality of fixation and application of the separate square-topped sutures. The combined atrial-intermediate fixation is employed with the separate square-topped sutures within the atrial position at the projection of the anterior cusp of the dissected mitral valve and along the lesser curvature of the monodisk prosthesis.
