Abstract

A wind water desalting unit has a tower, wind turbine with vertical axis of rotation in vertical cylindrical channel and electric generator, at that the tower is arranged of vertical walls installed as a cross-like structure, those in each of 4 sectors, together with the upper and the lower profile surfaces form confusers; under the wind turbine, with vertical axis of rotation, there are placed the diffuser-desalter, conical in shape, with water collector; and in the upper part of the tower a hydro-accumulating tank is placed, this is connected by discharge pipelines to the turbine and by the pump-in pipeline - to the water collector. The shafts of the hydro-turbine and the wind turbine are placed at one axis and connected to each other by a connecting-disconnecting muff, and the connection of the wind turbine to the shaft is provided with variable coupling coefficient.
