Abstract

The device for measuring the refraction aberrations of the eye comprises the probing channel, the measuring channel, and the channel of normalization. The probing channel comprises the following units set consecutively: the laser, two acousto-optic one-coordinate deflectors, the selector of the representing the telescope with the aperture diaphragm and the collimation lens. The exit aperture of the selector is aligned with the front focus of the collimation lens. The telescope transferring the equivalent center of beam deflection by the first deflector to the equivalent center of beam deflection by the second deflector is mounted between the acousto-optic crystals of the one-coordinate deflectors. The exit aperture of the telescope and the entrance aperture of the selector of first-order diffraction are aligned with the equivalent center of beam deflection by the acousto-optic crystal of the second deflector. The measuring channel comprises the objective lens and the position-sensitive photodetector. The latter is mounted within the focal plane and connected with the processing and displaying unit of the computer. In addition, the telescope constructed of the spherical and cylindrical lenses is equipped with the aperture diaphragm installed at the point where the foci of the entrance and exit lenses coincide. The aperture diaphragm may be designed as a slit oriented by its longer side towards the direction of beam deflection by the first deflector. Both aperture diaphragms are surrounded by the light traps outside the area of the first-order diffraction of both directions of beam deflection. The traps may represent the light-absorbing surfaces converging at an acute angle.
