Abstract
A combined ribbon-and-impeller feed mixer consists of a driving shaft, supports of a screw-type mixer with junction plates, screw tapes with radial fingers, supports of a blade mixer with junction plates, horizontal tubes, flat blades with varying direction thereof to the axis of the mixer and radial fingers. The screw tapes with the radial fingers are arranged on the same shaft of the mixer as flat multisectional blades, mounted on the horizontal tubes around the periphery of the mixer with varying direction of slope thereof in paired rows with corresponding space along the axis of the mixer, and the radial fingers are arranged on the opposite side of the tubes.
