Abstract

A method for diagnosing of heart disease in individuals who abuse alcohol comprises the performing of electrocardiographic studies (ECG study) and evaluation of the prolongation QT interval is performed. In individuals who abuse alcohol in the anamnesis, the changes in QT interval and its indicators: corrected interval QT (QTc), dispersion interval QT (QTd), variance corrugated interval QT – at acception into a hospital and over the next 2-9 days by daily ECG study are assessed.
