Abstract
A process for the preparation of α-(heteryl-(thio))-succinic acid involves dissolution of corresponding heterocycle halogen derivatives and succinic acid derivative in organic solvent, holding the mixture at given temperature and media pH, residue formation at room temperature, filtration and crystallization of the compound prepared from lower alcohols. Mercaptosuccinic acid is used as succinic acid derivative. The equivalent amount of corresponding heterocycle halogen derivatives and mercaptosuccinic acid is dissolved in dioxane. Solutions prepared are mixed and boiled. The residue of L-series α-heteryl-(thio))-succinic acid hydrochloride is filtered and crystallized from lower alcohols. Hydrochloride of α-heteryl-(thio))-succinic acid is neutralized with 5% solution of sodium hydroxide with the preparation of α-(heteryl-(thio))-succinic acid of L-series.
