Abstract

The proposed inductor-type generator contains a hollow cylindrical rotor made of soft-magnetic material and a stator with a number of m-shaped laminated magnetic cores. At each stator magnetic core, an excitation winding and a concentrated operating winding are installed. The operating windings of the stator are displaced relative to each other at an angle of 120 degrees. Each excitation winding contains two identical sections, which are connected accordantly in series and installed at the outer legs of the corresponding m-shaped laminated magnetic core. Each operating winding is installed at the central leg of the corresponding magnetic core.
