Abstract

A system for spraying a sorbent in the environment of flue gas of thermal plants comprises a device for spraying the sorbent, which has coaxially located hollow inner and outer cylinders. The inner cylinder is equipped with a pipe for introduction of the sorbent. The outer cylinder is equipped with a pipe for air introduction. The system is equipped with at least one other device for spraying the sorbent. The devices for spraying the sorbent are located consecutively in a row from one side of the thermal plant. In each device for spraying the sorbent the outlet part of the inner cylinder is equipped with a diffuser to spray the sorbent, which is made with a plane-slotted outlet for the sorbent. The outlet part of outer cylinder is equipped with a confuser for spraying air.
