Abstract

A method for generating ureteroneocystoanastomosis after resection of the ureter in length and width due to ureterohydronephrosis provides for application of the separate interrupted sutures with Vicril 4-0 following the first row of the sutures on the lateral surface of the distal part of the ureter. The second row of Vicril sutures is applied in continuous-interrupted mode starting from the proximal angle of the wound with the equal length of ligature being passed onto both ends of the wound. The needle punctures on both sides of the ureter wound with exit of the needle and knotting on the side of adventitia. Ligature is not being cut, and the suturing continues in the same mode, namely, the puncture from inside on the side of the mucosa, and the exit site of the needle and knotting – on the side of adventitia.
