Abstract

The disposable syringe contains the barrel of the varying section with the tip and the needle. Inside, the rod and the piston with the cuff as well as the unit for changing the piston diameter are located. The latter represents the rod and the extendable rollers and fixing appliances located within the radial opening in the piston contacting the cylindrical groove in the rod. The cylindrical groove is placed ahead of the rollers. The rollers are equipped with the axial recesses enclosing the elastic plugs extending over the end-face of the rollers. The diameter of the cylindrical groove exceeds that of the oval one.

Description

The proposed useful model belongs to medical equipment, namely to devices intended for the introduction of drugs into the human body.

A single-use medical syringe is known, which contains a body with a tip with a needle and a cap, in the middle of which there is a piston with a cavity and a rod connected by a connection node and a device for disconnecting the rod from the piston (see Ukrainian patent Me11232 Ab1M5/50 published on December 25, 1996)

The disadvantage of this technical solution is that the rod can be glued and the syringe reused.

The disadvantage of the well-known technical solution, defined for the prototype, is a complex design and many details, the rod has a longer length, which increases the weight of the syringe.

The basis of a useful model is the task of creating such a syringe, which would have the possibility of simplifying the design, reducing the parts and weight of the syringe.

The task is solved by the fact that the syringe, which contains a hollow body with a variable cross-section with a tip and a needle, in which there is a connected rod and a piston with a cuff and a node for changing the diameter of the piston, made of a rod and retractable rollers and retainers located in the radial hole in the piston, which can contact the cylindrical groove made on the rod, according to a useful model, the cylindrical groove is located in front of the rollers, and the rollers have axial depressions in which elastic plugs are installed, which protrude beyond the end of the rollers, and the diameter of the cylindrical groove must be larger than the diameter of the oval groove.

The syringe contains a cylindrical body 1 made of elastic material (plastic or polymer) or glass, a tip 2 with a needle 3, a piston 4, a rod 5 with a pressed button 6.

The inner part of the surface of the body 1 is made of alternating cross-section, with the main cavity 7 and the extended cavity 8, which is made to be 1/4-1/3 of the length of the body.

The transition 9 from cavity 7 to cavity 8 is smooth.

Piston 4 is equipped with a diameter change assembly. For this, behind the cuff 10, a radial hole 11 is made, in which the rollers 12 are placed, which are in contact with the oval groove 13, made in the rod 14, which is installed in the elongated hole 15 in the end of the piston 4 and is made in the shape of a mushroom with a head 16, which interacts with a thin membrane 17, which is glued to the end of the piston.

The radial hole 11 is made in the stepped form of Fig. 1, in which rollers 12 of variable diameter are installed, a smaller diameter allows to reduce the stroke of the rod 14, and a larger diameter allows for axial recesses in which elastic plugs 18 are installed, for example: in the form of rubber bands, protruding from the end rollers

A cylindrical groove 19 is made on the front of the rollers 12 on the rod 14, the diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the oval groove.

The syringe works as follows: in the transportable position, the piston 4 is located in the lower part of the housing, near the tip 2, and when taking medicine, thanks to the discharge between the piston 4 and the bottom of the housing, the medicine enters the housing 1 through the needle C.

After that, turning the syringe up, press button 6 to squeeze out the air.

The syringe is ready for injection.

When injecting, press the button 6, the rod 5 and the piston 4 move down to the tip 2 and there is an increased pressure from the liquid that acts on the membrane 17, it bends and acts on the head 16 of the rod 14, which moves to the outside of the piston, the oval groove 13 interacts with its edge on the rollers 12, which come out of the piston and increase the diameter of the piston, the elastic element 18 is compressed, and the lower ends of the rollers enter a larger diameter of the rod, and then jump into the cylindrical groove 19.

Since the diameter of the cylindrical groove is larger than the diameter of the oval groove 13, the rollers 12 will protrude from the piston 4, which does not allow you to use the syringe twice.

Elastic plugs 18 do not allow the rollers 12 to come out of the groove 19.
