Abstract
A method for producing elongated articles with pointed end includes manufacturing an initial billet, differential heating of its middle part (its length) to the temperature of hot - forming and extension by cold ends with separation of the billet into two articles with simultaneous forming of the pointed ends at rupture area. Heating is carried out on the area, which length is determined depending on the desired length of pointed part of the article and diameter or equivalent diameter of the billet.
