Abstract

A method for regenerating plants from callus tissues of Salvia sclarea L. in vitro includes obtaining explants from vegetative parts of seedlings grown in vitro from sage seeds on the agar-producing Murashige and Skoog nutrient medium. The explants are cultivated to obtain the callus. The initial seedlings are obtained from sage seeds. Shoot apexes and microcuttings of tube plants are used as explants. The cultivation of explants for obtaining the callus is carried out on the nutrient medium. The callus obtained is cultivated for inducing shoots on the nutrient medium.
