Abstract

Method for evaluation of viability of intestine and optimal limits of resection at acute disorders of mesenterial blood circulation includes intra-operation redoximetry through registration of changes of redox-potential of wall of small intestine with following determination of its viability. Redox-potential is registered for mucous and serous membranes of small intestine through segment-by-segment investigations of difference of redox-potentials of those membranes and viability of small intestine is registered by difference of redox-potentials of membranes, in particular in proximal section of small intestine 70 mV, in middle secton – 60 mV, in distal one – 50 mV.
