Abstract
A method for long-term suppression of irruptions of lepidopterous quarantine phytophages includes procedures of settling a parasite of eggs of pests of Trichogramma and using biological preparations. In the period of the beginning of mass migration of caterpillars of lepidopterous phytophages for diapausing single treatment of tree trunks, plant residues and the soil surface is carried out with a diameter of 70- around the trees with an aqueous solution of the 4.5-5.0% biological preparation Boverin. two procedures of settling laboratory cultures of two species of Trichogramma, in particular Trichogramma pintoi Voeg. and T. dendrolimi Mats., onto trees in an equivalent of 40 and 50 females per one tree are carried out in the period of the beginning of mass egg laying of phytophage females with interval 6-7 days. In the period of the beginning of mass rebirth of caterpillars with interval 5-6 days two procedures of spraying the trees with the biological preparation Viryn ABB are carried out in an equivalent of 0.2 l/ha and Phytoverm e.c. (emulsion concentrate) in an equivalent of 1.2 l/ha.
