The invention relates to the chemical-and-pharmaceutical industry, in particular technology of manufacturing the aerosol drug formulation, and may be used for manufacturing the topical drug irritating nerve terminations. The method comprises mixing the drug substance, Tween-80 as a stabilizer, ethanol, glycerol, and the purified water followed by filling the aerosolic balloons. The active substance represents 25% solution of menthol in menthyl ester of isovalerianic acid. First, the Tween-80 is mixed with 96% ethanol. Then 25% solution of menthol in menthyl ester of isovalerianic acid is added to the mixture. Finally, the mixture is added by portions to the water, and the final composition is emulsified.
