Abstract
The invention relates to the medicine, in particular to the gynecology of children and adolescents and may be used for treating the premature menarche. The estrogen-like drug possessing the selective inhibiting gonadotrophic activity, namely sygethin is employed with this aim in view. 1% solution of the drug is injected intramuscularly daily at a dose of 15-20 mg per 1 kg of body weight for 24-28 days. The method is devoid of the adverse effects and enables the higher therapeutic effect being attained more rapidly compared with the techniques known as the prototype. The low toxic 1% solution of sygethin does not affect adversely the child. The drug exert the selective inhibiting gonadotrophic activity on the gonadotrophic function of the pituitary gland and blocks the estrogen-sensitive receptors of the breast.
