Abstract
Description
The utility model refers to the field of electrical engineering, which deals with the design and manufacturing technology of high-voltage fuses.
The well-known high-voltage fuse under the EVP patent Me0123331 dated 03.12.84, cl. A NUT of a similar purpose, which contains a tubular insulating case with current-conducting caps installed on the ends and fusible elements placed inside the case, wound on an internal support tube, and a free-flowing arc-extinguishing filler. The connection of the fusible insert with the cap is carried out with the help of a toroidal current-conducting spring, which is put on the end of the support tube, and the centering of the support tube together with the fusible elements in relation to the tubular body is done with the help of an additional spacer made of insulating material, which is put on on one side the end of the support tube, and the other side is inserted into the conductive cap. Sealing of the caps on the fuse housing is carried out by a rubber ring on the end of the housing and by rolling the edges of the cap. The disadvantage of such a design is the high complexity of manufacturing the fuse and low reliability due to the presence of an internal pressing electrical contact with the help of a toroidal spring, which oxidizes over time, which leads to burnout of this contact.
Also known is the high-voltage fuse according to the US patent (5) Me4506249 dated 09.08.83, cl.
85/16 (analogues of Great Britain Me2146498 and Germany Me3432990), which has an insulating case with metal contact caps at opposite ends, inside which is an insulating frame with fusible elements wound on it. The internal space of the fuse body is filled with arc-extinguishing granular material. Perpendicular longitudinal axes of the transition plate are mechanically attached to the opposite ends of the insulating frame, which are electrically connected to the fusible elements on the one hand, and connected to the contact caps on the other. At the same time, the transitional metal plates provide not only the electrical connection of the fusible elements with the contact caps, but also perform the function of a centering element for the supporting insulating frame in relation to the inner cylindrical surface of the fuse housing. A significant disadvantage of such a fuse is the complexity of the design and the presence in the electrical circuit of the fuse of an additional current-carrying element (transition plate) and additional contact connections, which are known to be unreliable elements. In addition, holes are made in the contact caps for the passage of current-carrying bends of the transition plate, which increases the complexity of their manufacture.
The closest to the patented useful model is the high-voltage fuse described in the book. A.A. Chunikhina "Electrical devices. General course", Moscow, Energo-atomizdat, 1988, p. 526-529, which contains a tubular porcelain body with metal contact caps installed on its ends, inside which there are fusible elements wound on a supporting ceramic frame of tubular section and connected to the contact caps, the internal volume of the fuse body is filled with an arc extinguishing filler (dry sand). The fusible elements are electrically connected to the contact caps by soldering. The cap is closed from the outside with a metal cover with the help of soldering. This design of the fuse has a number of disadvantages: it is complex and non-technological in manufacturing and unreliable in operation due to the presence of a soldered connection between the terminals of the fusible element and the cap cover. Under the influence of the external atmosphere, the solder joint oxidizes and loses its tightness. In addition, due to the lack of a centering device in the process of assembling fuses, the fusible element together with the supporting ceramic frame often shifts from the center, approaching one of the sides of the fuse housing. Both of these shortcomings can lead to the failure of the fuse when the emergency current is turned off.
The useful model is based on the task of simplifying the design of the fuse and increasing its reliability.
The task is solved by the fact that a high-voltage fusible fuse, which contains a tubular porcelain body with metal contact caps installed on its ends, inside which there are fusible elements wound on a supporting ceramic frame of tubular cross-section and connected to the contact caps, according to the patentable invention , equipped with a cup-shaped contact cap, having a centering device in the form of a plate, a rod, a tube or a guide element of another shape, located along the longitudinal axis of the contact cap, mechanically connected to its inner end surface, which enters the central hole of the supporting insulating frame of the fusible element , and between the contact cap and the fuse body, a rubber sealing gasket is installed, equipped with a central hole for the passage of the centering device.
The general appearance and details of the fuse to be patented are shown in the drawings:
Фіг.1 Кінцева частина запобіжника у вихідному стані до напресовки контактних ковпачків;Fig. 1 The final part of the fuse in the initial state before pressing the contact caps;
Фіг.2 Кінцева частина запобіжника після напресовки контактних ковпачків;Fig. 2 The end part of the fuse after pressing the contact caps;
Fig. 3,4 Rubber sealing gasket in the initial state.
4.Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show the design of one end part of the fuse, which is patented. The second end part of the fuse can be made similarly to the one shown and can differ from it due to additional conditions. The fuse contains a tubular insulating body 1 with a cup-shaped metal contact cap 2 installed on its end part. Inside the fuse housing there are fusible elements 3, wound on a supporting insulating frame 4 of tubular section and connected to the contact cap using terminals 5. The internal cavity of the fuse housing, together with the supporting frame and fusible elements, is filled with a loose arc extinguishing material 6, for example, sand. According to the patentable invention, the metal contact cap 2 is equipped with a centering device 7 in the form of a plate, rod, tube, closed at one or both ends, or guide elements of a different shape, located along the longitudinal axis of the contact cap 2, mechanically connected to its internal end surface. The centering device is inserted into the central opening of the supporting insulating frame 4.
2.A rubber sealing gasket 8 with a central hole for the passage of the centering device is installed between the contact cap 2 and the fuse body 1. Current-carrying terminals 5 pass through the central hole or through separate holes in the rubber gasket and connect the fusible elements 3 to the inside of the contact cap 2.
In the initial state before assembling the fuse (see Fig. 1), the rubber spacer C has a flat shape with a central hole for the passage of the centering device. The outer diameter of the gasket is greater than the outer diameter of the fuse body O (see Fig. 3), and its thickness is greater than the air gap between the inner diameter of the cap 4 and the outer diameter of the fuse body 0. The contact cap is connected to the fuse body by pressing with a force P directed along the axis of the fuse, the value of which should be sufficient for the full tension of the cap on the fuse body. In the process of pressing the cap, the rubber sealing gasket 8 and the insulating frame 4 together with the fusible elements Z are held by the centering device 7 in a symmetrical state relative to the longitudinal axis of the fuse housing 1. The sealing of the contact cap relative to the fuse housing is ensured by the sealing of the rubber gasket. For a better connection of the rubber gasket with the contact cap, it is equipped with several cut sectors outside the outer diameter of the fuse body O (see Fig. 3). The fuse before pressing the contact cap is shown in Fig. 1, after pressing - in
2.Fig. 2.
The electrical connection of the terminals 5 of the fusible element with the contact cap is carried out from the inside of the cap using its local or general heating to the melting temperature of the coating, for example, tin, after pressing the caps. At the same time, the coating can be applied to both parts that are connected, or only to one of them. The mutual pressing of the parts to be welded is carried out due to the elastic deformation of the sealing rubber gasket.
The patent-pending design and manufacturing technology of the final part of the high-voltage fusible fuse allows to increase the operational reliability of the fuse due to the guaranteed symmetrical location of the fusible element in relation to the fuse body and reliable sealing of the internal space of the fuse due to the sealing of the contact cap with a rubber gasket and the exclusion of external soldering.
