Abstract

A process for preparation of components of alternative fuel from polymeric waste, worn car tires and mechanical rubber goods by portioned thermal processing, which includes loading of raw material into an airtight chamber with external heater, thermal degradation of raw material without access for air with obtaining a solid undecomposable residue and a steam-gas mixture, rectification of the steam-gas mixture with isolation of a gas mixture and a liquid fuel component, removal of harmful impurities from the gas component, cooling by a refrigerant the solid undecomposable residue, for example, by liquid nitrogen or by carbon dioxide, unloading the solid undecomposable residue with its subsequent separation and isolation of metallic and other inclusions, use of the gas obtained during destruction and free of harmful impurities as a fuel for the external heater, moreover thermal degradation of preliminarily prepared raw material is carried out in the presence of liquid catalysts. Water vapor is also used as refrigerant, and the solid undecomposable residue is subject to double action of the refrigerant with its subsequent use as a solid working medium.
