Abstract
A method for predicting unfavorable course of the disease in hypertensive patients provides for detecting microalbuminuria. The examination starts at the stage of normoalbuminuria. The level of normoalbuminuria is assessed as low (0-10 mg/day), medium (11-20 mg/day), or high (21-30 mg/day). The medium and high levels of "normoalbuminuria" is considered as non-favorable sign as to the course of the hypertension with possible hypertensive nephropathy and other cardiovascular diseases.
