Abstract
The invention relates to the area of sensors being the electrochemical cells used in gas analysis devices. The electrochemical cell for quantitative determination of halogens in air is placed in a casing and contains at least an indicator electrode and an auxiliary electrode segregated by a separator, and electrolyte in form of the metal chloride solution. The indicator electrode is made of the porous titanium and the auxiliary electrode contains a cation-exchange substance in the H+ - form which stabilizes electrolyte at PH 1.5 – 4.5.
