Abstract
A method for external desulfurization of cast iron comprises the supply of powder wire in metal, at that wire contains mechanical mix of granulated magnesium and preliminary melted fusible high-calcium slag mix. The selection of test of cast iron is carried out for chemical analysis. Additional amont of magnesium is introduced in smelt if contents of sulfur in metal exceeds the set amount.
