The method for the surgical treatment of dislocations and dislocation-fractures of the metatarsal bones provides for the reposition of the dislocations followed by the fixation of the affected joints. The metatarsal bones are fixed to the tarsal bones by applying the standard supraosteal mini-plates onto the back surfaces of the tarsal joints in parallel to their longitudinal axes. The plates are designed with the holes. Two mini-screws are inserted to the marginal holes perpendicularly to the mini-plates.
