Abstract

A method of producing conducting nanostructures includes counter displacement of electrodes up to obtaining electrical contact between them, one of which is sharpened in the form of a needle. Moreover the contact is mechanically broken and into the area of contact an electrolyte is introduced, which contains ions of the same metal, from which the electrodes are manufactured. An ion immobilizing agent is preliminarily added to the electrolyte. After holding of electrolyte during 20-30 minutes from the moment of introduction of the immobilizing agent between electrodes current is passed with intensity of 1-500 μA and resistance of the system during auto-oscillations is recorded. The current is disconnected at the moment of sharp drop of the system resistance.
