Abstract

The invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery. The method for introduction of stent in the trunk of the left coronal artery in the branch area of lateral vessel from the basilar artery foresees introduction of introducer, introduction of conductive catheter by using a coronal guide, conducting through an conductive catheter to the mouth of artery of the beforehand prepared system “stent on a balloon” and conducting of it through the arterial lumen in the area of involvement to the place of implantation, positioning of stent, inflating of balloon with stent, blowing away of balloon after ending of implantation and removal of balloon from a coronal stream in an conductive catheter. Length of stent is selected and it is position so that the proximal segment of stent is disposed in the distance 0,9-1,2 diameters of mouth from the mouth of the left coronal artery, and distal segment of stent – in the distance from the mouth of lateral artery, which exceeds 2,5 diameters of lateral artery mouth. After removal of balloon from a coronal stream a coronal guide is introduce through the stent branches, located in the area of branch of lateral artery, other balloon catheter of adequate size is introduced in the mouth of lateral artery and balloon catheter is inflated.
