Abstract

The technique for the temporary closure of the perforation caused by the tumor upon mobilization of the rectum comprises the closure of the perforation hole by the piece of the gauze followed by the fixation of this piece of the gauze to the intestine. The piece of the gauze is folded in half into the roll. With this aim, the piece of the gauze is folded starting from the middle line towards the free edges with free areas left on both sides. Then the roll is placed onto the perforation hole while the free edges are extended out of the tumor into the intact wall of rectum, rectum is wrapped by these free parts of the gauze, which joint the roll oppositely. Then tow ligatures are applied to the intact wall of rectum above and beneath the tumor. The ligatures are tied crosswise. With this aim, the upper and lower ligatures are tied up in turn being passed around rectum in the opposite directions.
