Abstract

The needle-holder contains the cylinder with reciprocating spring attached to the rod inside the cylinder. The distal end of the rod is equipped with the catch unit designed as the tabs and the unit for setting the tabs into the operating position. The distal end of the cylinder is flared out by 0.3 mm for limiting the forward movement of the cylindrical bushing of the rod with the spring. Distally, the cylinder has the longitudinal groove fixing the needle. The catch unit represents the cut in the middle of the rod axis (0.8-1.0 mm in width and 12.0-15.0 mm in length). These two parts generate the tabs with the groove between them for catching the needle. The tabs are set into the operating position with the aid of the cylindrical bushing pulling onto the tabs due to the force of the spring resting against the unbent ends of the tabs. Proximally, the rod is equipped with the restraining bushing following the site where the proximal end of the spring is fixed by the locking cylinder. Proximal part of the cylinder contains the appliance for the fingers and the groove 2x2 mm at the distance of 5-6 mm from the proximal end of the cylinder for fixing the restraining bushing.
