Abstract
The method for the cytogenetic diagnosis of lymphoproliferative processes comprises the quantification of the nucleoli in the lymphoid cells. The increased content of compact and compact-nucleolonemic nucleoli (1.3-4.6% of the compact nucleoli, from 0.10±0.004 to 0.39±0.002; and from (82.2±3.3)% to (88.8±2.1)% of compact-nucleolonemic nucleoli) suggests the malignant process. The low content (absence of compact nucleoli; and from (6.7±3.6)% to (17.6±7.0)% of compact-nucleolonemic nucleoli) is indicative of the benign lymphoproliferative process.
